Birthday party – free printables

I’m sorry for this long silence, it took a few days to accept my new age ;) No, for real, I’m really busy working, doing a lot of wedding photography. I love it but unfortunately, I didn’t had time for you guys, to blog. So here are the pictures of my Birthday Bash! The party I was looking forward to, for a few months and it was really awesome. A lot of friends stepped by, I had a lot of great food and drinks and the atmosphere was nice. :) I really love organising and styling party’s! I downloaded some free birthday printables that I really want to share with you. The best way to style your party if you ask me. Maartje’s outfit: Birthday girl

Yesterday, it was Maartje’s birthday. She went 21 (joke, but I’m also not telling you her real age;)) and we had a lovely time with our family and we ate a lot of sushi (jummm!). This outfit is a combination of the 90′s with a wink. We love this ‘Ammehoela’ necklace. It’s a dutch saying for when you feel like someone wants you to do something and you think ‘No way, you can fix your own stuff’.

New thrifted items: Camel vintage bag & oldskool camera

Thrifted is the best! Today, I visited Zoetermeer for some thrift shopping :) Between a lot of old stuff, I always find something unique that makes me happy. This vintage camera for example, I really love it as a piece of interior, even though there’s a little lamp missing. This bag has a funny story, I love to tell people. Last week, we visited our family in Limburg, in the southern part of Holland ;). My aunt and uncle wanted to throw this bag away, ‘because it’s so old and ugly. You probably don’t like it, do you?’ ‘Well, I LOVE that bag!’ I told them. So I was really happy to help them out. :) Ever since, I wore this bag like almost everyday. Thanks a lot aunt & uncle! ^Nienke

DIY Project: Customize your beanie

Finally, my new DIY project is finished! I spotted a similar beanie hat at Topshop in London and I kept me thinking. Beanies are awesome, but customized beanies are even better and more fashionable if you ask me. So I decided to make a cool piece myself. I bought this bracelet at Primark, I took the lock off and sewed it on my hat. I took 10 minutes of work and I’m really happy with my new fashion accessory! You should make one piece too, for cold april days and in preparation for next winter :) ^Nienke
